Francesca Bettridge, President and Principal of Cline Bettridge Bernstein Lighting Design, contributes unique insight, creativity and a commitment to sustainable design to all of her projects. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with highly esteemed architects on award-winning national and international work, encompassing a broad range of types and styles.
FRANCESCA BETTRIDGE, IALD, FIES, LC   PRINCIPAL
  She worked on one of the first LEED® projects, the William J. Clinton Presidential Center, as well as the largest LEED Platinum (pending) Tower, One Bryant Park. She has been honored with multiple Lumen Awards of Excellence, the Lumen Feltman Award, Lumen Awards of Merit, Lumen Citations, a Lumen Honorable Mention, the Paul Waterbury Award of Distinction, International Illumination Design Awards of Merit and IALD Awards of Merit. She is also a recipient of the A/L Outstanding Achievement Award and the A/L Award of Excellence, the Edison Award, the GE Edison Award of Excellence, and the IIDA Edwin F. Guth Award of Excellence.

Francesca, a Professional Member and former Secretary of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), has also served on the Board of Managers and the Richard Kelly Scholarship Committee of the New York Section of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IESNY). She currently serves on the A/L Magazine Advisory Board and is Lighting Certified (LC) by the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions.

A graduate of Barnard, Francesca also studied at Parsons School of Design and the Open Atelier of Design, which she helped found. She has also taught at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design.
