Jeff’s interest in architectural lighting design grew out of his studies in theatrical lighting. He joined CBB in 2007 after finishing his MFA in Lighting Design from the Department of Theatre at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In the architectural lighting field, he saw the opportunity to explore the ways that light affects peoples’ environments. Jeff was drawn to a career with CBB because of the range of projects that the company’s work enhances. |

Jeff still considers theatrical lighting to be his forte, and enjoys being able to take this discipline’s unique outlook on lighting into the architectural realm. His specialized approach brings inspiration to CBB projects including arts venues, academic buildings and commercial offices.
Jeff is a member of the United States Institute of Theater Technology.
