On completion of his Master’s in 1997, Mitul joined CBB, where his vision and capability have been recognized in project after project, a number of which are industry award winners. Of his work at CBB, he says,
"At any given time, designers at CBB are working on multiple projects, which may also be at different stages in the design process. This means that that our work is never monotonous. Every project also offers its own challenges, aesthetic or technical, so that designers have a real chance to develop creative problem-solving skills. With the majority of the projects going for LEED®, providing sustainable design becomes an essential part of the job, which is challenging but also environmentally conscious."

Mitul’s work at CBB has been honored with a large number of awards – multiple A/L Magazine Lighting Design, Lumen, IIDA and IALD Awards, as well as an IESNY Paul Waterbury Award.
