Marty is a Senior Associate and Project Director at Cline Bettridge Bernstein Lighting Design. Prior to joining the team, she completed large-scale projects at Flack + Kurtz Consulting Engineers. After training at CBB as a designer, she was welcomed back to the firm in 1998 as a Senior Associate.
MARTY SALZBERG, IALD, IES   SENIOR ASSOCIATE
  Demonstrating a technical and creative expertise that extends to the design of schools, university campuses and health centers, and with specialist capabilities in lighting for sports facilities, Marty has been instrumental in the design and coordination of numerous award-winning projects. Her work has been recognized with the IIDA Edwin F. Guth Award of Excellence, the Lumen Award of Excellence, the A/L Light & Architecture Outstanding Achievement Award, the IALD Award of Merit, the IIDA Award of Excellence for Energy Efficiency in Lighting for Commercial Buildings and the IES Award for Energy Efficiency in Lighting for Commercial Buildings.

She is a Professional Member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) where she serves as a member of the Energy & Sustainability Committee.  As a Member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) she has been the secretary of the Library Lighting Committee since 2003, where she helped author new standards for illumination of libraries (RP-4).  She is a voting member of the ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) Standard 90.1 Full Project Committee. In addition, she has written articles on energy efficient lighting design for LD+A, Consulting-Specifying Engineer and Real Estate Weekly.

Marty graduated from Brandeis University and continued her studies at Parsons School of Design.
