Renata was initially attracted to lighting design while studying at the New York School of Interior Design. On a course assignment to create a light sculpture, she found that she enjoyed working with lighting layers and effects as she discovered how to manipulate the light to create different settings and moods.

Renata has held lead design roles in a number of CBB projects where sustainability is a primary consideration. Her work in this area includes the first law offices to seek and achieve LEED® certification. A resourceful and versatile designer, Renata participates in projects ranging from high-end commercial spaces to budget-conscious public school buildings.
What she finds most rewarding in her work is a project’s successful outcome – seeing the completed installation and hearing favorable comments from her projects’ clients and architects. "Every day that I work at CBB gives me the chance to learn something new!"
