Job Opening: Lighting Designer

We are currently looking for entry-level Lighting Designers.

Work under supervision of senior design personnel to plan, design, and administer architectural lighting design projects for the interiors of residential, commercial, and industrial spaces. Formulate design which is practical, aesthetic, and conducive to highlighting architectural elements, structural materials and natural lighting.  Confer with clients prior to project design to determine project parameters.  Create and revise lighting layouts, calculations and specifications of fixtures using AutoCAD, Lumen Micro and LightPro lighting design software applications.  Present designs and mock-ups to clients and architects to ensure final designs are accurately implemented and constructed.  Perform daylighting analysis to determine the amount of artificial lighting to be used in project designs.

This position requires coursework in Lighting Design and experience as an Architect or Lighting Designer, including experience with daylighting analysis and advanced architectural illumination design.   Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.  Please send resumes with salary requirements to Stephen D.
