Restored Bethesda Terrace Arcade

American Way magazine featured an article on the recently reinstalled Minton tile ceiling within New York Central Park’s Bethesda Terrace Arcade. CBBLD worked with Mark Lighting to design custom dimmable uplight fixtures for the ceiling. The fixture’s rod supports are integrated into pre-existing holes within cast iron panel surrounds in such a way that the entire lighting scheme may be removed without damaging the historically sensitive structure.
