The winner of a 2009 Lumen Citation, New York financial firm GSC Group’s striking new offices are now the subject of an October 2009 Illuminate Magazine feature. CBB Principal Stephen Bernstein and Associate Sang Lee used an innovative LED scheme to light a monumental digital art piece as the project’s dramatic and unifying focus. LED Leader
CBB Senior Associate Michael Hennes, LEED® AP, recently chaired a full-day Advanced Lighting summit at the LEDs 2009 Conference in San Diego. He was also one of the presenters and led a round-table panel discussion at the end of the day. CBB’s lighting design for Cira Centre in Philadelphia (pictured left) was one of the LED case studies featured in Michael’s presentation. The summit provided a thorough overview of LED lighting’s modern-day uses, and of how and where LED applications can continue to grow. See the LEDs 2009 Conference website.
On tour at 7WTC again
CBB Associate Mitul Parekh, LEED AP, led a tour of the night illumination of 7 World Trade Center for Open House New York, exhibiting CBB’s dramatic lighting design for this project to a sold-out crowd. This tour, led again by CBBLD for the fourth year in a row since the building’s opening, has proven to be a recurring highlight of the OHNY event.
