The entry courtyard serves as a unique entry point and gathering space for this mixed use 55-story tower. While the entrance portals for the Bloomberg offices, residential and retail components are differentiated through distinctive lighting, the sweeping architecture is reinforced by concealed interior lighting and layers of architectural and theatrical exterior lighting that work together to achieve a unified composition.
The glowing volume at the top has become a new feature on the skyline. Two colors of cold cathode cross fade over the evening to produce a range of warm to cool white light that blends and harmonizes with the night sky. The subtle, temporal effect is unique in the city.
