The lighting for this financial firm sought to humanize its high-tech workplace with the look of an upscale boutique hotel. The biggest challenge was to evenly rear- illuminate an art piece, (250 feet long covering 2,200 square feet), that wraps around the core of the two-story office and keep below the maximum energy allowance. By carefully controlling the brightness relationships of the key architectural and art elements, we achieved a comfortable balance that is appropriate for office tasks yet honors the design goals of the client.
