FROST BANK TOWER

The 33-story Frost Bank Tower, situated in downtown Austin, has been sculpted with a dense rectangular base crowned by a six story glass structure at its top.  The lighting carefully and dramatically reinforces the building’s design logic, with the brightly lit base anchoring the structure while uplights on the major tower mullions accentuate its vertical form.  At its highest point, the tapered massing of the building culminates in a translucent glass crown.  The effect is dramatic and provides a new symbol for the skyline of Austin.
