SCHOOL OF THE INTERNATIONAL CENTER OF PHOTOGRAPHY The lighting designers were able to overcome the loss of windows and a park view when this prestigious photography school relocated to a basement facility. The lighting of the glass, street-level entry establishes the new pavilion as an identifiable icon. Inside, brightly glowing surfaces belie the fact that one is underground. The school staff praised the design for "encouraging interaction and vitality”.
